  • Add mushrooms; cook 3 min. or until mushrooms are tender, stirring occasionally. Add broth; stir. Bring to boil.
  • Stir in rice; cover. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 5 min. Remove from heat; let stand 5 min. Add walnuts and parsley; mix lightly.

Substitute

Substitute PLANTERS Slivered Almonds for the walnuts.

    OMGOSH! This was sooo YUMMY! My hubby and youngest son who are very picky when it comes to rice ate this up sooo fast! I've made it twice this week so far! I didn't add any nuts, and I added 2 1/2 cups of water with 3 tsp chicken bouillon instead... and it had plenty of flavor!

    I gave it a 3 because my family found it to be very bland. Will definately make it again but will add more seasoning.

    This is very good. My whole family liked this recipe. Sometimes it is not easy to get them to eat brown rice.
