I did not use jar sauce, as my family doesn't buy that, so I iused approx 3/4 of a qt of our homemade sause. I thought the recipe said to cut the chicken into bite size pieces & realized too late that I wasn't supposed to. Regardless, it was very good & I woulddefinitely make again. You can also cut up the chicken into bite size pieces & serve over pasta!

I threw frozen chicken tenders in, along with a little olive oil, minced (from jar) garlic, black pepper, the frozen pepper/onion mix, and sauce. It was wonderful!

Otherwise I would eat this with no problem For those watching sodicum content you need to come up with more heart healthy recipes and some for the diabetics as well.

However, my husband and children did not like it at all. I would make this again if I was having my sister over for dinner with no kids or husband.

I served this over angel hair pasta, using 1 onion, 1 red pepper and 1 green bell pepper (I couldn't find the frozen strips) and it was incredibly easy, fast, and DELICIOUS! My family loved it!
