It was pretty good.. The chocolate syrup was a bit much for me but i suppose you can just adjust how much you use to your liking.
I'll be making this next week, as I have pound cake in the freezer. I can see how several variations on this would be super. Such as: adding bananas and chopped walnuts or pecans, or adding Khalua or really strong coffee, etc... Haven't decided on my end result, but it is on my menu for sure!
It was just ok. it was good, but it did'nt blow me away. And I would not agree that it was that easy. It was a bit labor intensive and messy plus thawing the pound cake and Cool Whip requires planning. You definitely want to make this ahead of time.
