I do think it would be better if it was made with a sausage stuffed ravioli rather than the cheese ravioli. The cheese kind of takes away from the sauce. Definately recommend though! Will make again as everyone just loved the sauce.

Thought this was a great family pleaser, and even though I did not substitute low- or non-fat ingredients, I loved it and practiced portion control. Not all weight-loss minded cooks want to spoil it for everyone in the family, or for myself, and have learned to enjoy all good food in moderation.

For those on a low-fat diet, why don't you replace any of the higher fat/higher calorie ingredients with LOW-FAT or NON-FAT ingredients? You said you would never make it...why not incorporate the lower fat substitues before you make a comment? You can't comment on something you've never tried!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I can't wait to try this recipe. I can't wait to try this recipe. Because we try to eat healthy, I plan on replacing the cream cheese with either low-fat cream cheese (I think the fat free version taste awful!) or nuefatchel cheese. Also, rather than the cheese ravioli, I'm going to use the mushroom stuffed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Loved the photo but found I had tortellini rather than ravioli in the freezer. Loved the photo but found I had tortellini rather than ravioli in the freezer. Substituted low fat ricotta for the cream cheese, and used precooked bacon. Added twice the Italian seasoning. This was great. My husband said he'd like to have this again soon.

My family liked this recipe and I liked it because I had everything on hand to make it. I did leave out the onions and bacon as we don't care for them. The broccoli gave it some color. We teamed it up with breadsticks. Great and fast meal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great quick meal! Great quick meal! like some of the others, i found the sauce a little bland, so i add more italian seasoning to taste, half a tsp is a deff not enough! You can add just about any vegie to this one and it'll come out great.
