  • Heat oven to 400ºF.
  • Pull cheese into thin strips; set aside.
  • Brown meat in large skillet; drain. Stir in salsa and chili powder. Place tortillas on baking sheet; top with meat mixture and cheese.
  • Bake 8 to 10 min. or until cheese is melted and tortillas are crisp and lightly browned.

    I made this recipe the other nite for my boyfriend; he really liked it. I added more ground beef, salsa and instead of string cheese used Mexican Cheese. Delish. I also added picante sauce . When I make it again, I'd eliminate the Picante. Quick and easy my kind of recipe.

    I made it with whole wheat tortillas, and taco seasoning instead of the chili powder. My husband liked this dish, and he's not the biggest fan of mexican food! (its too spicy!) I will most certainly make this again.

    This was really quick and really easy. Loved it! I used shredded cheese instead and that worked great!
