Rated 4 out of 5 by from This takes the guilt out of my love for Kraft Macaroni and Cheese Dinner. This takes the guilt out of my love for Kraft Macaroni and Cheese Dinner. I used a full packaged of steamed vegetables that I steamed before adding. I cooked the macaroni while the veggies were steaming and drained the macaroni before combining the ingredients. I expect this to be my regular way to give myself that mac and cheese fix that I occasionally crave.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I made this recipe almost on receipt. I made this recipe almost on receipt. And it was very delicious, however, next time I plan to add 1/4 cup or two finely sliced green onions. I love green onions with tuna. Also, a grating of black pepper would make a difference in flavor.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Almost there, but not quite I started preparing this back in the late 70s as a quick meal, but have always used the following in preparing the box of Kraft dinner:2/3 cup reserved water from preparing the macaroni, 1/3 cup butter or margarine, 1/4 cup dry nonfat dry milk powder, the sauce packet from the box & 1/2 to 1 cup of grated cheddar or Colby or cojack cheese (always use the pre-grated cheese). Once the mac 'n cheese is ready I stir in 2 cup frozen baby peas & 7 ounces well drained solid pack tuna that has been flaked. Heat on low until the peas & tuna are hot throughout. Season well with black pepper. More salt is not needed if you salted your cooking water well for the macaroni. The cooking water & pre-grated cheese add a touch of starch that helps make a creamy sauce. Lately, I have noticed that cans of white tuna are down to just 4 ounces each, so I just add 2 cans well drained and flaked solid pack white tuna.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very yummy! Very yummy! My two oldest ate seconds. I didn't use the crackers. I used what I had in my pantry; the tuna, mac & cheese and mix veggies from the freezer. It was very good and easy. I made it on one of our soccer practice nights and it was so quick to throw together!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is simple and delicious! This is simple and delicious! I used a can of chunk white meat chicken instead of tuna and topped the casserole with french fried onions. My "chicken hating" boyfriend loved it. I haven't tried it with tuna yet, but I can attest that canned chicken works wonderfully.
