What You Need

cups fresh raspberries

cup sugar

pkg. (3 oz.) JELL-O Strawberry Flavor Gelatin

cups JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows

pkg. (2-layer size) white cake mix

cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

Make It

HEAT oven to 350ºF. Grease 13x9-inch pan; spread raspberries onto bottom of pan. Sprinkle evenly with sugar, dry gelatin mix and marshmallows.

PREPARE cake batter as directed on package; pour over marshmallows.

BAKE 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool. Serve topped with COOL WHIP.

Substitute

Substitute 2 pkg. (12 oz. each) frozen raspberries for the fresh raspberries.

Make Ahead

This cake is delicious served warm. But it can also be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Refrigerate leftovers.

This was absolutely delicious and super easy! I also did not use 1 cup of sugar. I lightly sprinkled some sugar (maybe a few tablespoons) over the raspberries. It turned out excellent and everyone wanted the recipe!

Great recipe!! Will definitely make this again!! Tips: You only need enough raspberries to cover the bottom of the pan; too many and there will be too much moisture/water from the raspberries and it won't bake. If your oven runs hot, as mine does, adjust to 325 and it works great!

Was a big hit, great for a summer bbq. I only used 1/2 c. of sugar b/c I thought it would be to sweet w/ the Jello.

Great recipe, but I didnt add the sugar because there was enough sweetner in the jello
