Keep this stashed in your freezer while the temperature spikes outside, waiting to make an appearance at the party. Just know that this will steal all thunder from the BBQ.

I have made this recipe in three variations over the past week...I couldn't wait to try it! First, with Peach Sorbet and fresh sliced peaches on top! The guests raved! Secondly, with Chocolate mint frozen yogurt as the top layer, chocolate pudding and Chocolate Cool whip and the 1% milk...another hit! Last but not least...I used Banana sherbet as the top with fresh, strawberries and bananas and strawberry cool whip as the lower whipped topping...and it is absolutely delightful as a refreshing cooling treat.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This recipe was very tasty, and I will make again trying different flavors of pudding and sherbet. This recipe was very tasty, and I will make again trying different flavors of pudding and sherbet. One thing, next time I will line the pan with plastic wrap. DO NOT USE FOIL!!! It was a disaster to get out of the pan and for some reason the pudding/cool whip mixture ate through the foil. I made this for a picnic and it was the star dessert so I had to scrape off a thin layer from the sides as it had turned black (must have been some chemical reaction with the foil). Hence the reason for only 3 stars.

Made this dessert for my coworkers for a birthday potluck and everyone just raved about it. Made copies of the recipe for everyone. Also I told them where I got the recipe from and told them that they can get the recipe book by registering online. I have made several dishes from your books and really enjoy making them. There so easy to make because the ingredients are so easy find. You usually can find most of the ingredients in your grocery store. Thanks again for your wonderful recipes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a welcome treat when our temperatures are in heat warning stage. What a welcome treat when our temperatures are in heat warning stage. This was so fabulous, my husband was afraid it was too fatting to eat again. He was shocked to find out what was in it. I did use Fat Free milk, sugar-free Jello pudding, and Fat Free Cool Whip, talk about a wonderful low calorie treat. I'm excited to share it with all my weight watcher friends. I highly recommend this dessert, even if you have to weight your weight , you'll never guess it's "legal."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made this tonight for a hot weather treat. Made this tonight for a hot weather treat. It was SSOOOO GOOD!!! I was told: You WILL make it again!!! lol And I WILL!!! I tweaked the recipe just a little bit. I put a few whole raspberries in between the layers before freezing it and made a raspberry sauce(berries, sugar and cornstarch)let it cool and poured it over the top of each serving. But, I think next time, I'll cut the berries a in half. Can't wait to make this next time we have company over!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I just finished making the recipe and it is currently chilling. I just finished making the recipe and it is currently chilling. Once it freezes I will be adding a choc bottom layer by melting 1 cup of Choc chips with 2 Tbsp shortening in the microwave (stirring frequently--otherwise it will burn) and placing back in the freezer for 15 minutes. I know that it is going to decrease the nutritional value of the recipe but whats a girl's night with out chocolate dessert. I will let you know how it goes over!

Made the white layer as required, but made the sorbet layr with different flavors quite a few times. (Strawberry, peach, mango) and then added contrasting fruit: kiwi, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, etc....) Wonderful combinations to suite the likes of different family members. We love this and it looks like I really fussed. Thanks for another great dessert choice that can be low fat too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was so easy and was delicious! This was so easy and was delicious! My husband loved it! We had it on a Wednesday evening and then went out of town. I wrapped it tightly in plastic wrap and put it back in the freezer. It was just as good when we had it again on Tuesday! It's so difficult to find really good low fat desserts and my husband doesn't think dinner is dinner without dessert, so this is definitely a keeper.
