Regal Chocolate Sauce

With only a few simple ingredients and a microwave oven, this incredibly rich and chocolatey dessert sauce can be ready in less than 10 minutes.

What You Need

oz. BAKER'S Unsweetened Chocolate

1/3

cup water

1/2

cup sugar

Tbsp. butter or margarine

1/4

tsp. vanilla

Make It

MICROWAVE chocolate and water in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1-1/2 min. Stir until chocolate is completely melted.

ADD sugar; mix well. Microwave 3 min. or until sugar is dissolved, stirring after 2 min.

STIR in butter and vanilla until butter is completely melted and mixture is well blended.

Variation - Mocha Regal Chocolate Sauce

Stir in 1 Tbsp. MAXWELL HOUSE Instant Coffee along with the sugar.

Serving Suggestion

Serve as a topping for your favorite flavor ice cream or cheesecake.

This is a very easy recipe to prepare. However, it is a knock you down bittersweet chocolate sauce with quite a bittersweet chocolate hit. To make it again I would thin it down and use very small servings.

My family has been using this recipe since I was little. I teach Food and Nutrition classes and this is always a class favorite on homemade ice cream or igloo cake.

Sounds good - will try. I have my own chocolate sauce recipe and I think it will be hard to beat the one I make. My recipe takes many more ingredients and much more time. It is a cooked sauce. Will try this one.

This is the BEST chocolate sauce I've ever made!!!!! FANTASTIC!!!! We used to have an old ice cream shop in this town where the owner made his own chocolate sauce and hot fudge sauce. This rivals his - easily.

I was looking out for such a chocolate sauce since a very long time and wondering whether I shall ever find one. It is indeed delicious. Thanks a million for such a good receipe.
