I got excellent results with this recipe - best sauce I've made in years. The recipe produced a wonderfully silky texture, and has a rich chocolate flavor. Variations: I added an extra tablespoon of water, and heated the sugar/chocolate/water mix for only 2 minutes on 80% max power. Readers will have to be careful with their own microwave to make sure they don't burn the sauce!

I/ve been making using this recipe since I was very young and before microwaves were even available! Now I'll try doing it the "new fashioned" way! I get requests everytime someone new tastes it.

This is a very easy recipe to prepare. However, it is a knock you down bittersweet chocolate sauce with quite a bittersweet chocolate hit. To make it again I would thin it down and use very small servings.
