Rice with Shrimp

Why serve plain ol' rice when you could wow them with this dish—made with shrimp, chopped ham and festive-looking red pepper strips.

What You Need

2
cups  long-grain white rice, uncooked
2
Tbsp.  olive oil, divided
2
cups  water
1
  red onion, chopped
1
clove  garlic, minced
1
lb.  uncooked medium shrimp, peeled, deveined
4
oz.  OSCAR MAYER Boiled Ham, chopped
1
 red pepper, cut into thin strips
2
Tbsp.  lite soy sauce

Make It

COOK and stir rice in 1 Tbsp. oil in medium saucepan on medium heat 1 min. Stir in water. Bring to boil; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 20 to 25 min. or until rice is tender.

HEAT remaining oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add onions and garlic; cook and stir 2 min. Add shrimp, ham and peppers; cook 5 min. or until shrimp turn pink, stirring frequently.

STIR in rice and soy sauce.
