Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was my first time making salisbury steak and I'm glad I found this recipe! This was my first time making salisbury steak and I'm glad I found this recipe! I used Stove Top Pork Stuffing because it's all I had at the moment. Also, instead of mushroom gravy, I used powdered brown and onion gravy. I made those as instructed then added the extra cup of water before pouring them both into the pan with the steaks. I let them simmer for a little longer than 5 minutes but they turned out really, really tasty! I paired them with buttered green beans and sour cream 'n chived mashed potatoes. A BIG hit!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I decided to try this recipe so that I could use some of the ingredients I already had on hand. I decided to try this recipe so that I could use some of the ingredients I already had on hand. I made smaller patties because I have a three year old, and I used cream of mushroom soup because I didn't have any beef gravy. Also, I decided to bake instead of fry. The man of the house said it was excellent! My son loved it, and so did I. This is definitely something I'd make again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was very good and have made it several times. This was very good and have made it several times. A really nice quick and easy change of pace from hamburgers. My only problem is cooking with the stuffing. There were chunks of stuffing throughout the cooked steak. It didn't take away from the taste at all, but just not the most appealing texture. I will probably start trying this recipe with bread crumbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally, I found a recipe that's an absolute hit with all of the men in our family! Finally, I found a recipe that's an absolute hit with all of the men in our family! I've always had a tough time...my side of the family are midwestern farmers and my husband's side of the family are Indian immigrants. This recipe pleased everyone so much that even my mother-in-law asked for the recipe. That's absolutely unheard of!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This recipe was super simple. This recipe was super simple. I made it with cream of mushroom soup because I had that on hand and it turned out well. I would make it again. I was able to freeze half of the uncooked "steaks" and have an easy meal later. I would say it is a good recipe but not outstanding-not bad, just did not stick out as a family favorite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My family LOVES this! My family LOVES this! I didn't have gravy in a jar, but had a couple of brown gravy packets and that worked just as well with a small can of mushrooms added. I can't find the herb dressing in a canister, but the chicken flavor works just as well.
