Because the initial recipe is very bland, I'd either add some type of flavored dressing or a cheese with bite (e.g., cheddar). Other than that, it was very easy to make and with some add-on's, tasty. Be sure to use a quality canned salmon (oh, yeah, I used two cans.), or make the salmon yourself. Also, cut the amount of peas used in half.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I used leftover salmon from a luncheon rather than canned. I used leftover salmon from a luncheon rather than canned. I also used frozen peas with pearl onions and left out the other onions. Since no one in my family likes swiss cheese, I substituted white american cheese. The other ingredients I used as specified. I also added a light sprinkling of parmesean bread crumbs on top. It tasted great!

I used fresh salmon and sauteed it with some onions and garlic in olive oil before mixing it with the other ingredients. I also used shredded cheese instead of broken up slices. I added salt, pepper and a seasoned bread crumb topping before baking. It came out great and everyone enjoyed it!

This is more casserole than loaf recipe and better than the usual cracker or bread crumb filler. Next time I'll add more cheese and maybe some Old Bay Seasonings. We loved the celery & frozen peas. Great additions

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great twist on a tuna casserole. Great twist on a tuna casserole. I used a whole chopped green pepper instead of celery and 8 oz. of shredded swiss cheese. Next time I made add some pasta to make it go a bit further.
