  • Heat large heavy skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium-high heat. Add fish; cook 5 min. on each side or until fish flakes easily with fork. Remove from skillet; cover to keep warm.
  • Add milk and reduced-fat cream cheese to skillet; cook and stir 2 min. or until cream cheese is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Stir in cucumbers and dill.
  • Return fish to skillet. Cook 2 min. or until heated through. Serve over rice; top with cream cheese sauce.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I thought this sounded great when you first sent it. I thought this sounded great when you first sent it. Then, I read the negative comment of 5-22-07. To prevent the soupy consistancy and add more flavor to the sauce; I made a few changes. I softened the cream cheese in the microwave and added the milk a Tbs at a time until the consistancy desired. Then I added the other ingredients. Also, added lemon pepper, salt & pepper and diced some green onions on top. I used a nonstick pan, adding a small amount of olive oil. Discard any remaining oil before adding sauce to pan. Delicious!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delicious! Delicious! My Husband and I enjoyed this dish. I had no Dill so I used Rosemary instead and it worked out fine. Next time we want to try the dish cold. Fish and sauce, sounds great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was a very nice dish. This was a very nice dish. However, I did add a few more spices. I put a little BAM! from the Emerald and some Bay Sea Spice. I also put some garlic and lemon juice. The rest of the recipe stayed the same. I just like a little more flavor than offered with the original recipe. This was Delicious and a very nice cap to Good Friday for this Catholic Family.

I used a grill pan and cooked the fillets on medium heat for 5 minutes per side, then finished them in a 400 degree oven for another 5 minutes. To be honest, I didn't follow the recipe for the sauce. I made my fat-free version of a tzatziki sauce, which included Greek yogurt instead of the cream cheese, and maybe a tablespoon of milk to thin it down. I used the suggested proportions of dill and cucumber and jazzed it up with a squeeze of lemon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I broiled my Salmon and put the dill sauce on top for the last couple of minutes. I broiled my Salmon and put the dill sauce on top for the last couple of minutes. Also took the advice of another member and used less milk. Actually, I only used 1/2 c of milk and the sauce still wasn't near as thick as the picture above. Salmon did have awesome flavor! Yum! I think leftovers (if there are any) might also be really good cold in a pita bread for wrap.

I try MANY of your recipes, and they're usually great, but this one was a failure. The sauce was runny, and there was no flavor. You can't cook salmon is a frying pan. The skin stuck to the pan, even with the oil. Then pieces of the skin were attached to the "good" side of the fish. Stick to the oven, and use a recipe that has lime or lemon!

It was very bland and kind of greasy. We ended up cooking the salmon and then making the sauce in a seperate pan. The sause didn't have much flavor so we added salt, pepper and garlic and I put it in the blender. This made it pretty good. I think it has the potential for much better with some work.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I am shocked that this recipe received 4 stars. I am shocked that this recipe received 4 stars. I made this last night and was very disappointed. I followed the recipe to a "T" and it was awful! My sauce was runny and absolutely tasteless. I'm wondering if the cucumbers should have been run through a food processor rather than just chopped. I used fresh dill and I really couldn't even taste it. YUCK!
