  • Prepare Dinner as directed on package.
  • Meanwhile, sprinkle chili powder over chicken; place, seasoned-sides down, in large nonstick skillet sprayed with cooking spray. Cook on medium-high heat 3 min.; turn.
  • Top with carrots and salsa; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 10 to 12 min. or until chicken is done (165ºF) and carrots are tender. Serve with prepared Dinner.

    I varied this recipe using 1/2 cup of water instead of cooking spray and sprinkled 2 tbsp's of taco seasoning instead of chili powder when the water was reduced to half. I cut the chicken into bite size pieces. I omitted the carrots and added the mac, cheese pouch, milk (no butter)and salsa right to the pan with the chicken. I let this thicken and it really was wonderful and quick.

    I use barbecue sause instead of salsa.

    One of my husband's faves. I sometimes add onions and peppers to this for more filling portions.
