I've been making these for a while, but with a significant addition: instead of thick slices, I refrigerate the roll-ups overnight so they're easier to slice them thinner, less than 1/2". Then I lay the slices on a baking sheet and heat them at 350 for about 15-20 minutes. They're a hit at every party and always requested! I also use the hot salsa to give them more of a kick. Irresistible!

I made these for Thanksgiving with an avid salsa lover in mind but everyone loved them. You can pretty much use any salsa you want and it would be great (like I did.) I do have one suggestion, though. I very much suggest making them ahead the night before and letting them refridgerate so that the cream cheese gets solid again and they're a thousand times easier to cut. I haven't made them since but I will definitely make them again and again.

My guests liked them but I thought they could use more ingredients, they seemed a little bland and just not much to them. If you are looking for something easy to make, this is it. However, I would add some grilled chicken or something and I would not mix the salsa and neufchatel cheese next time. I think they would taste better if the ingredients were layered instead of mixed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from YUM! YUM! Very Easy to make! I doubled the recipe.I also added a southwestern blend spice mix, that I purchased at a home cooking show type party, to the cream cheese. It kicked it up a notch on the zesty level! My tortillas (not Taco Bell brand)were a bit dry and made rolling and holding together a bit diffucult, but the tatse was still delicious!

I made it with mild salsa because there are quite a few "wimps" in the group. I felt they would be better with more of a kick, I'll make both for Thanksgiving. Also, I used lavash rollups as well as tortillas, and put the unused salsa in a dipping dish.

I used whole wheat tortillas, whipped cream cheese, (it spreads easier) chunky salsa, sprinkled on parmesean cheese instead of shredded cheddar ... then for the kicker ... added kidney beans for fiber. What a hit! I'm making them for my work now and can't wait to bring them in!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good! Very good!!! I have made this so many times for parties when I have to bring an appetizer and don't have time or don't want to make something elaborate. Everyone loves them!! Super easy to make. One suggestion, put in fridge and let them set after you've stuffed them before cutting, they will cut so much better.

This recipe is a "cold" appetizer, however, it was SO delicious after popping the tray under the broiler just long enough to brown them up slightly and make them a little crisp. With the cheeses slightly warmed they were very creamy - I took these to a party, and they were gone in a flash!
