We each made one recipe to bring along and share. We also brought a copy of the recipe along for everyone in attendance and two other recipes that we wanted to share. I tried this one because I had recently recieved my new Kraft magazine in the mail and was looking for a beverage to make just for the party. Boy, what a treat! It was enjoyed by everyone who attended. We talked about some ways to spruce it up or make it a little less expensive, which was our only complaint about the punch. Besides that it was great!

I've made this recipe 4 times and each time I did a little something different but now I think I've perfected it. The original recipe was too tart for my family and friends liking so after a few little changes I've come up with this. I still used 1/2 cup pink lemonade drink mix then I added 1 and 2/3 cup of each grape, orange and cranberry juice then 3 cups of lemon-lime soda in place of the club soda. And for an adults only version I added one cup of red wine. I think this version taste more like authentic sangria.

I made this punch recipe for my daughter's baby shower and had several people ask me for the recipe! They thought it would be great as a summertime drink mix...maybe with vodka added...haha! I used the Country Time Lemonade...but I thought that the suggestion of the Raspberry Ice Crystal Lite sounded great too. I'm going to try it that way, here at home...adding the berries to it.

I took the advice of another reviewer about being too tart and substituted red grape juice for the cranberry juice cocktail and doubled it for our 4th of July cookout. It was great!! Everyone that tried it liked it, even my kids liked it. Very refreshing and a great summer time beverage!! Looks pretty in the pitcher with the citrus slices, too!

(We made it the night before and had to lock it in the garage so we'd stop drinking it!) We went through gallons of the stuff! It can easily be diluted by adding a little extra club soda if it's a little strong for you, so it's even good for people who don't like sweet drinks.

I've made this for tons of baby showers and holiday get-togethers, and it always turns out great. You can also make the base (everything except the soda) a day or two before and it tastes better. The base also freezes really well. Use frozen berries instead of ice and it keeps the punch cool without diluting it. Definitely a must try!

Along with the crafts there is a commercial booth with a drink similar to this one. We made this and loved it and to say the least it is far less expensive than the one purchased at the craftshow. We will definitely make this again.

However the directions were easy to follow and the drink received rave reviews. I have e-mailed this recipe to others and they too will be preparing it soon.
