Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was a really tastey twist on traditional sloppy joes. This was a really tastey twist on traditional sloppy joes. I used a little extra Velveeta and I used the Mexican style one in place of the orriginal. It has jalepeno pieces. I also substituted cerano chilis instead of bell peppers because I didn't have any on hand and my husband and I like spicey foods. Very good! Sorry for any misspellings in this post...I have a feeling there will be a few!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is my new favorite recipe! This is my new favorite recipe! I tweaked it just a bit. I used half an onion, a celery stalk (instead of a green pepper) and 8oz of Velveeta. (It's almost too saucy with that much cheese.) I also used honey hickory smoke bbq sauce. That made it a little sweeter. Love this flavor combo!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This recipe was so gross! This recipe was so gross!! My husband who is not picky at all wouldnt even eat this. We think the BBQ sauce gave it a bad test and a very very bad after taste. Maybe this would taste better without the BBQ sauce and just a half of the velveeta.....maybe. Amanda - Queen Creek, AZ

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this last night and my husband and 1 1/2 year old LOVED it. I made this last night and my husband and 1 1/2 year old LOVED it. It had great flavor. The only thing is you have to watch the amount of water you put in. I used what was called for in the recipe and ended up having to turn it really high on the stove to boil some of it out.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I made this last night and was not impressed, I thought it was runny and too cheesy! I made this last night and was not impressed, I thought it was runny and too cheesy! I think maybe wouldn't be so bad if I had added more ground meat and less cheese. Wasn't a big hit in our house, think I will just stick to sloppy joes they are quicker and taste better

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This recipe was pretty yummy! This recipe was pretty yummy! I really do not like bbq anything, but I liked this and my husband loved it. I was glad that I read the comments before making it, I did not use the amount of water called for in the recipe and mine turned out perfect!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from this was not as good as thought it would be. this was not as good as thought it would be. It was barely ok for me. Hubby didn't like it at all but daughter thought it was good. Doubt I will make again. however, if you don't add add as much bbq sauce and water as I did it isn't as runny.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from YUM! YUM! My husband doesn't really like regular sloppy joes so I tried this. We loved them. IT was runny though. I don't think I would use as much water. I also put in in the crock pot on low all afternoon, i think that enhanced the flavor!
