Rated 3 out of 5 by from This was the first time I have ever made meatloaf. This was the first time I have ever made meatloaf. I was surprised with how easy it was to make. I was also glad that my entire family enjoyed it. I would recommend cooking it 5-10 minutes longer than suggested (based on your oven). My loaf was still a bit under cooked in the center.

When I make Italian meatloaf, I use a 50/50 blend of Italian sausage (hot or mild) and ground beef, diced onions and green peppers. I suppose the stuffing mix will be an added convenience. Any left-overs are crumbled up and recycled into spaghetti sauce for pasta.
