I didn't make the dipping sauce, but I was surprised at how good just mixing the Shake-n-Bake Barbecue Glaze packet with a pound of ground beef turned out. The meatballs were pretty saucy. I did, however, find that there was a lot of the coating mix left over, even though I was generous about coating the meatballs. I might suggest using 1.25 or 1.5 pounds of ground beef instead of just a pound. I will be sure to make this again instead of the same old chicken or pork.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Flavor is very flat and uninteresting. Flavor is very flat and uninteresting. The sauce was awful. Kraft BBQ Original is a superb product, but mixing it with Miracle Whip as the recipe calls for basically makes pink Miracle Whip. All of the depth of the BBQ sauce is gone. I'm disappointed that a recipe like this is available from Kraft. Please do better.

I made these, but I also added minced onion & garlic, & italian seasonings before rolling them into balls. Then after baking them I placed them into a crock pot and added extra bbq sauce and a touch of water to help keep them moist. They turned out yummy and I have been asked to make them again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I used dry bread crumbs instead to add more flavor. I used dry bread crumbs instead to add more flavor. I just loved the sauce, though, it was amazing! What a great and different way to eat meatballs. Everyone else loved it too. I think I added more BBQ sauce to make more of that flavor come out. I will make this again soon I'm sure.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I think the meatballs were a little bland. I think the meatballs were a little bland. Maybe need to use breadcrumbs and onions to add some flavor. The sauce was good. Overall this was a hit but I felt the meatballs were lacking a little something.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Good! Very Good! I would have preferred them a little "saucier" as they dried out a bit in my chafing dishes. Next time I will make extra sauce to go with it. The dipping sauce was great too.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from TASTY! TASTY!!You do not need to add all the BBQ glaze to these. I feel like the whole package was a little overwhelming. The sauce was very good, best if refigerated prior to eating.
