  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare cake batter as directed on package; pour into greased 13x9-inch baking pan.
  • Pour milk and 2 cups water into large bowl. Add dry pudding mixes, sugar and cinnamon. Beat with electric mixer on low speed 1 to 2 minutes or until well blended. Pour over batter in pan.
  • Bake 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cut into 24 squares to serve. Or, spoon into serving dishes. Serve warm.


Prepare as directed, using a devil's food cake mix.

    You must be kidding! Just made this for my son's birthday and ended up with an oven swimming in pudding. It's way too much for the pan size. Are those the right amounts of water and milk for the puddings? Something is very wrong with this recipe. I don't believe anyone actually tested it before-hand.

    Mine came out as a goopy mess. The cake did not set up and it was hard to get out of the baking dish. It tasted fine, but I could not serve it to company.

    This cake is awesome! I tweaked it a bit though. I used 2 cups of milk and only 1/4 cup of water. I also used splenda instead of sugar and applesauce instead of oil for the cake. Oh, and I did not use cinnamon. I will definitely be making this again!!
