Very yummy! I couldn't find arbol chilies so I used finger chilies and it turned out great! The sauce is really good.

What You Need

can (8 oz.) tomato sauce

arbol chiles, stemmed

Tbsp. A.1. Original Steak Sauce

Tbsp. oil, divided

cloves garlic, minced

large onion, chopped

lb. uncooked deveined peeled large shrimp

cups hot cooked rice

green onions, chopped

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

Make It

BLEND first 3 ingredients in blender until smooth.

HEAT 1 Tbsp. oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add garlic and onions; cook 5 min. or until tender. Remove from skillet. Heat remaining oil in skillet on medium-high heat. Add shrimp, in 2 batches; cook and stir 3 min. or until pink. Remove from skillet; cover to keep warm. Return garlic, onions and shrimp to skillet; stir in sauce mixture. Bring to boil; simmer on low heat 3 min. or until heated through.

SPOON over rice; serve topped with onions and sour cream.

Loved it. I used cruched red pepper. Came out excellent. This recipe has been added to the rotation.

i made this recipe and everyone loved it! I served it over mexican rice and it was a great hit! i suggest using no more that the a 1 steak sauce. its pretty bold in flavor :)

Would love to make this, but can't eat really spice food, don't mind a med. spice, BUT 7 Arbol chiles??? Fresh or dried?? What type of chile pepper could I replace with the Arbol Arbol chile are very hot, and related to cayenne pepper. Be careful during preparation. Arbol chiles are also the ones that are dried

This was amazing!I can't wait to make it again. Since I couldn't find arbol chiles or uncooked shrimp I used dried cayenne pepper and cooked cocktail shrimp and it was perfect. I can't think of a single thing I would do differently. My boyfriend and I both LOVED it and it meant a lot to me because he is extremely picky.

This was very good and fast to make. I didn't have the arbol chiles and didn't want to run to the store just to get one so I used cayenne pepper instead. Internet says arbol/cayenne are equivelent in heat. I cut the recipe down for one and it still was very good and spicy.
