Serve these warm calzones with a mixed green salad to round out the meal.
Omit mushrooms. Brown sausage with peppers; drain. Return to skillet. Add 1 pkg. (6 oz.) fresh baby spinach; cover. Cook 5 to 6 min. or until spinach is wilted. Add cream cheese spread, mozzarella and garlic powder; mix well. Continue as directed.
Sprinkle each calzone lightly with KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese before baking.

Ok, so this is the first recipe I've made from Kraft, and I have to admit I was not disappointed! I added 1/2 an onion to the mixture and that was it. Nothing more than what the directions called for... absolutely delicious! The kids couldn't get enough!!
I made this receipe but the dough i bought (pillsbury pie crust) was way too thick and didnt like the taste of it. However the stuffing was delicious!!!!!!!!!!!! I would try this again with a different dough.
This is so yummy and easy. I added the spinach to it for extra veggies. I also used the Italian cheese and herb cooking cream instead of garlic. I wasn't sure if my kids would like the garlic. They loved this!!!
