Just made this recipe and it turned better than I expected. I did modify this recipe a little bit. First off, I omitted the ham since I am a vegetarian. All measurements were kept the same. I didn't have chicken broth can so I used a cube of Knorr. I dissolved a package directed and added the 14 1/2 oz of broth. It turned out great, I loved the garbanzos in the sauce! Just to add some kick, I added a few drops of green habanero sauce ;)
used chicken instead of ham, cooked the chicken in a little bit of EVOO and seasoned it with Italian seasoning and ground Thyme to give it more flavor. It was yummy and the kids ate it.
A little bland. I ended up serving the leftovers with pasta sauce to give it more flavor.
