Savory Deviled Eggs

If the devil is indeed in the details, these don't live up to their name. Two ingredients and 10 minutes is all you need for a heavenly appetizer tray.

What You Need

hard-cooked eggs, cooled, peeled

1/4

cup OSCAR MAYER Sandwich Spread

Make It

CUT eggs in half lengthwise. Remove yolks; place in bowl and mash with fork.

RESERVE 1 Tbsp. of the mashed yolks for garnish; stir sandwich spread into remaining mashed yolks.

SPOON egg yolk mixture evenly into egg whites; sprinkle with reserved mashed yolk.

Variation

Remove and discard yolks or cover and refrigerate for another use. Fill whites with sandwich spread.

Make Ahead

Prepare as directed, but do not add the reserved mashed egg yolk garnish. Cover and refrigerate the filled whites and reserved mashed yolks separately. Garnish with the reserved mashed yolks just before serving.

Special Extra

Mix all of the mashed yolks with the sandwich spread; spoon evenly into egg whites. Garnish with thinly sliced CLAUSSEN Kosher Dill Mini Pickles or chopped fresh parsley.

I couldnt find Oscar Mayer sandwich spread at my grocery store but they did have Kraft spread. It worked great. For an extra touch, add a green olive on the top of each egg for garnish. These were so yummy!!!

I make deviled eggs all the time. I saw this and brought to work. Everyone thought it was neat witht the sprinkle of yoke on top. Made it look better than ever I guess!

I used this recipe a few years ago to take to a cook-out. Guess who's the official deviled egg supplier for all gatherings now! No, I didn't tell anybody how EASY this was, I just keep bringing the eggs. I like mustard on my hot dogs, not my eggs, so this is an awesome change of pace!

This was quite quick. Another good recipe would be add Crabmeat, cayenne pepper and very small cut scallions, mayo & a little dry mustard. Make a great devil eggs. Everyone will love it....Thanks

this is quick and great for hard boiled eggs, but if you add a little worshtorshire and mustard, it adds a little tang. Really good. thanks wanda

I tried this recipe and went on to experiment a bit more. I tried putting deviled ham in the egg yolks with a little relish and it was wonderful! My kids even liked it!

I always use sandwich spread for my deviled eggs and it gives it a great flavor, if you like sweet relish.
