  • Heat dressing in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add vegetables; cook and stir 3 to 5 min. or until crisp-tender. Add meat; cook and stir 2 to 3 min. or until heated through.
  • Fill roll with meat mixture and cheese.
  • Cook sandwich in nonstick skillet on medium-high heat 2 to 3 min. on each side or until sandwich is heated through and cheese is melted, occasionally pressing down on sandwich with back of spatula to flatten slightly.

Special Equipment Needed


Omit sandwich roll. Top each of 2 (6-inch) flour tortillas with half each of the cooked meat mixture and cheese. Fold in opposite sides of each tortilla, then roll up burrito style. Cook 2 to 3 min. on each side or until heated through.

Special Extra

Add a few roasted red peppers strips to the cooked meat mixture before adding to the sandwich roll.


Prepare using whatever leftover cooked meat you have on hand, such as beef sirloin steak, flank steak or London broil.


If you have a panini maker, you can use that to cook the sandwich instead of the skillet.
