The best meatloaf I have ever made. So tasty. I didn't have Cream of Wheat so I left it out. The honey mustard topping is the best.

What You Need

1-1/2

lb. extra-lean 99% fat-free ground turkey breast

1/2

cup creamy wheat (enriched farina) hot cereal (1-minute, 2-1/2-minute or 10-minute cook time), uncooked

1/2

cup cholesterol-free egg product

1/2

cup ketchup

clove garlic, minced

tsp. dried basil leaves

pkg. (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed, well drained

1/2

cup chopped red peppers

1/4

cup chopped onions

Tbsp. GREY POUPON Country Dijon Mustard

Tbsp. honey

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F.

MIX first 6 ingredients in large bowl until well blended. Add spinach, peppers and onions; mix well.

SHAPE into 9x4-inch loaf in 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray.

BAKE 45 min. Mix mustard and honey; brush onto meatloaf. Bake 25 to 35 min. or until done (165°F). Let stand 10 min. before slicing.

I've never had much luck making meat loaf, but this one was great. I used fresh spinach rather than frozen because I already had it in the 'fridge and didn't include the creamy wheat because I didn't have any. It was the best meat loaf I've ever had! My husband loved it, too.

I didn't really like the flavor of this meatloaf. It had too much of a spinach taste even though I like spinach. I had to put lots of catsup on it to eat it. Because of that, I'm going to crumble the leftovers over pasta and top with pasta sauce and parmesan cheese. I believe I will like it better then.

My children cleaned their plate in no time flat--spinach included and were asking for seconds! The honey-mustard glaze was the best topping I've had on meatloaf. The turkey gave it a lighter taste.

My husband and I loved this. I wasn't sure how the husband would take to it but he loved it. He ate almost half the "loaf" the first night and then ate the rest the next night. It was simple to make. I used fresh spinach rather than frozen and since i didnt have or want to buy the cereal i used bread crumbs as others suggested. It turned out simply delicious.

This is delicious; my favorite way to eat spinach! We used fresh spinach instead of frozen, and doubled the honey mustard topping. Wonderful!

I loved this receipe...like everyone else I made a few changes. Instead of cream of wheat I used old fashioned oats, fresh spinach, ground mustard spice instead of Grey Poupon, and regular eggs instead of egg product. It was soooo good!

When my husband saw this his eyebrows raised. It looks rather interesting... However, it tastes great and is rather healthy. Overall, it was great and different than what we usually have.
