  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Melt chocolate and butter in small saucepan on very low heat, stirring constantly. Cool slightly.
  • Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on high speed 10 min. Add chocolate mixture; beat on low speed until well blended. Gradually add flour, mixing until well blended after each addition. Stir in walnuts. Spread into greased 13x9-inch baking pan.
  • Bake 35 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out with fudgy crumbs. (Do not overbake.) Cool completely in pan. Cut into 32 pieces to serve.

Use Your Microwave

Microwave chocolate and butter in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2-1/2 min. or until butter is melted, stirring after 1-1/2 min. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Continue as directed.

Special Extra

For easy cleanup, line baking pan with foil using this easy method.  Turn pan upside down and fit a piece of foil over top of pan, smoothing corners as needed.  Remove foil.  When you turn the pan over, the foil fits perfectly inside the pan.

I use a jelly roll pan, which makes thinner brownies, use just one cup of nuts, and I add a 12-ounce bag of chocolate chips. I frost the brownies with a chocolate glaze made with almond extract. Best brownies in the world!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It has a very deep chocolate taste. It has a very deep chocolate taste. It doesn't look like the picture. It is a fuggy type brownie instead of a cake like brownie. It is easy to make. While the eggs, sugar and vanilla are mixing I melted the butter and chocolate.

These brownies where good, however I thought they were to thick causing the top to become hard and crunchy and bottom still soft and guey, I would reccomend using a larger size pan and these would be perfect!!
