  • Heat oven to 400°F.
  • Combine first 5 ingredients. Stir in 1/2 cup mozzarella; spoon into shells.
  • Spread half the sauce onto bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish. Place shells in dish; top with remaining sauce and mozzarella. Cover.
  • Bake 40 min. or until heated through, uncovering after 30 min.

Serving Suggestion

I made this recipe last night exactly as written and I don't see what all the fuss is about. I only gave it one star just because it eas edible. I have made stuffed shells for years and decided to try this recipe just to do something different and what a mistake that was. My recipe calls for fewer indgredients and tastes much better than this did. The Good Seasons Italian Dressing Mix combined with the spaghetti sauce does not give this a good flavor at all. I would leave out the dressing mix. The red peppers also did not fit well with this recipe. Leave those two out and throw in some ricotta cheese and you will have a winner.

He used the word fantastic to describe the taste, and he doesn't use that word frequently. I can always tell how much he likes a dish by how fast he eats it, and whether he asks for seconds. This dish was consumed very quickly and he eagerly asked for seconds! I added browned turkey meat to the spaghetti sauce and thought it added a great touch. I wasn't too thrilled with the red pepper still being crunchy (I'm a texture girl), but it didn't ruin the dish. Overall great recipe and easy to make!

I love cheese manicotti so when Kraft sent this recipe to my mailbox I decided to make it. This is so good! I made the recipe exactly as it was posted with the exception of using an Italian Blend of cheeses instead of just mozzerella. After reading some reviews about the red pepper I was tempted to omit it. I am so glad I didn't. I chopped it up really fine and it made the dish! I freezer cook alot and as I doubled this recipe, I will freeze half. Thank you so much for the tasty and healthy recipe!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this was SO good. this was SO good. I struggle to make meatless meals for my vegetarian daughter and SIL that I actually want to eat!! I used 2 roasted red peppers vs. the fresth. I also had to use Ranch dressing mix. I alwasy buy the multi-packet boxes of Good Seasons so I knew I had some at home. I got home from the grocery store and dang ... no good seasons. I used the Ranch and it was tasty but I can't wait to make it with the right salad dressing mix! My 1 year-old grandson also loved this recipe :-)

The only thing that seems out of place in eating the shells was the red pepper chopped up in it. The crunch seemed out of place. I will leave that out next time and maybe add Mushrooms.
