  • Drain oranges, reserving liquid. Add enough water to reserved liquid to measure 1-3/4 cups. Stir in ginger.
  • Prepare rice as directed on package, substituting the 1-3/4 cups orange liquid for the water. Refrigerate 30 min.
  • Add dressing, onions and water chestnuts; mix lightly. Gently stir in oranges.

Substitute 1/2 cup sliced celery for the water chestnuts.
