  • Pour into two glasses.
  • Top each with a scoop of additional ice cream, if desired.

Substitute

Substitute vanilla or coffee frozen nonfat yogurt for the vanilla ice cream.

Variation

Prepare as directed, adding one of the following ingredients to coffee and ice cream in blender container before blending: 1/2 small banana; 2 Tbsp. chocolate syrup; 2 Tbsp. peanut butter; 1/4 cup malted milk powder.

    Wonderful breakfast shake! Although I did cheat a little and added a pinch of sugar to mine. Not neccessarily a black-coffee drinker, ya know. I will definitely make this several mornings of the week!
