What You Need

1/2

cup honey

1/4

cup water

pkg. (1-1/2 lb.) chicken drummettes

pkt. SHAKE 'N BAKE Extra Crispy Seasoned Coating Mix

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 400°F. Mix honey and water in shallow dish. Dip chicken into honey mixture, turning over to evenly coat both sides. Gently shake off excess honey mixture.

ADD 3 or 4 chicken drummettes to coating mix in shaker bag; close bag and shake gently until evenly coated. Repeat with remaining drummettes. Discard any remaining coating mix. Place chicken in foil-lined 15x10x1-inch baking pan.

BAKE 30 minutes or until cooked through.

My huspand came home with Extra Crispy Buffalo coating mix and said this was the only one he could find so I used it. Went over very well they are a bit sweet and spicy and everyone liked them. I would bake a bit longer, maybe 40 minutes or raise the temp in the oven just a bit.

Really good. Made them out of chicken breast strips as opposed to drumettes and they were really good. Next time I'd add some cayenne pepper to add a little heat and even out the honey. I'm an experienced cook and these are nothing over the top, but I found this very quick and easy recipe for the nights that you don't want to cook!

My kids love these! I marinate them in honey and chicken broth and then after their done I drizzle honey on them and they are delish!

The chicken tasted good, but I had to cook it longer then it called for.

This recipe was so easy and cheap. Best of all the kids and husband loved it. They couldn't stop. I would definately make again.

I MADE THIS WITH CHICKEN STOCK INSTEAD OF WATER AND HONEY MIXTURE IT WAS ALRIGHT NEXT TIME I WILL SEASON MY CHICKEN BEFORE PUTTING ON THE SHAKE N BAKE
