Everyone loves a good makeover, especially cheesy noodles layered with ground beef, marinara, green peppers and melty sharp Cheddar. Better-for-you and easier, too.

What You Need

pkg. (14 oz.) KRAFT Deluxe Macaroni & Cheese Dinner Made With 2% Milk Cheese

1/2

lb. extra-lean ground beef

large green peppers, chopped

cup spaghetti sauce

1/2

cup KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese

Make It

HEAT oven to 400ºF.

PREPARE Dinner as directed on package. While Macaroni is cooking, brown meat with peppers in large skillet; stir in spaghetti sauce.

LAYER half each of the Dinner and meat mixture in 8-inch square baking dish. Repeat layers. Top with Cheddar.

BAKE 15 min. or until heated through.

How can this be called Low Calorie?? 460 calories IMO is NOT LOW, and like one reviewer stated TOO MUCH Sodium over 1100 mg is NOT Low Sodium and not Low Fat either!

This was a simple and tasty dinner. I have two small children & they loved it! I served it with a fresh loaf of garlic bread from a bakery.

Very tasty! I didn't think it was going to taste so good, but was surprised when my 7 and 9 year old BOTH ate it up. :) My husband enjoyed it, too. I'll make this again soon. Super easy to make. I had it all made by the time the kids came home from school--LOVE that type of easy dinner, as I'm not a huge fan of cooking.
