Want a quick meal that will save you both fat and calories when compared to the original recipe? This delicious recipe trims 150 calories and 15g of fat, including 5g of sat fat, per serving by using extra-lean ground beef and a decreased weight of the meat. It also uses better-for-you versions of both the Macaroni & Cheese Dinner and the shredded cheddar.
This quick meal offers the great taste of lasagna without all the work. Best of all, it's not only low in both calories and fat, but it also provides vitamin C from the green peppers.

Not the fanciest or perhaps the most nutritious, but very yummy and very easy. I've made it a couple times now, and have tweaked it a bit to suit my own taste. I use Velveeta shells and cheese instead of the mac and cheese, one pepper, a whole pound of hamburger, and a little more sauce than the recipe calls for. My picky husband likes it enough to eat it leftover the next day (and this is an anti-leftover dude), and it's nice that it doesn't make an entire huge pan that the two of us will never finish on our own.
This is a tasty twist. Love the cheesy-ness with the spaghetti meat sauce. I don't always use name brand in my recipes, but after making this the first time with an off-brand mac 'n cheese, I definitely use the Kraft brand now. Has a lot more flavor.
This was a very easy, inexpensive meal to make. Tastes great too.
