Shore Region Shrimp Kabobs

Kabobs of shrimp, green pepper and pineapple are basted with teriyaki barbecue sauce and grilled to perfection in this "tastes like summer" dish.

What You Need

lb. cleaned large shrimp

medium onions, cut into wedges

medium green peppers, cut into chunks

1/2

of a medium pineapple, peeled, cored and cut into chunks

wooden skewers

3/4

cup KRAFT Teriyaki Sesame Ginger Barbecue Sauce

Make It

PREHEAT greased grill to medium-high heat. Arrange shrimp, onions, green peppers and pineapple alternately on skewers.

GRILL kabobs 5 to 10 minutes or until shrimp turn pink, turning occasionally and brushing with the barbecue sauce during the last 2 minutes of the grilling time.

Use Your Broiler

Assemble kabobs as directed. Place on rack of broiler pan 3 to 5 inches from heat. Broil 5 to 10 minutes or until shrimp turn pink, turning occasionally and brushing with the barbecue sauce during the last 2 minutes of the broiling time.

Well this is my first time using kraft or any recipe to cook, but i must say that on July 4th my husband and i decided to do some shrimp kabobs and i tried this recipe and everything came out great we loved the taste and seasoning, i must recommend this recipe to everyone.

CAN BE SERVED WITH PASTA TOO, AND ARTIFICIAL SHRIMP PIECES CAN ALSO BE SUBSTITUTED FOR REAL SHRIMP.

I like the recipe for one time, but also found that by mixing brown sugar, pineapple juice and Teriyaki Sauce together. Marinade shrimp in this mixture for 15 minutes and then grill until done.

As a first time 17 year old cook, I must say I had fun making this dish, and it turned out great! I love it, as I love shrimp! Great for any family!

It taste better without the sauce,brush with pinapple juice and brown sugar mixed together.

This was a wonderful appetizer color & flavors were so good. I forgot to add the pineapple so I opted for gree,red,& orange peppers. I also marinated the shrimp in sweet chili sauce to give it some spice. Great recipe
