What You Need

cup flour

cup finely chopped PLANTERS Pecan Pieces

1/4

cup sugar

1/2

cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted

pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

Tbsp. milk

tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided

cups cold milk

pkg. (4-serving size each) JELL-O Chocolate Instant Pudding

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Mix flour, pecans, sugar and butter until flour is moistened. Press evenly onto bottom of 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool.

BEAT cream cheese and 2 Tbsp. milk in large bowl with wire whisk until well blended. Gently stir in half of the whipped topping. Spread over cooled crust.

POUR 3-1/2 cups cold milk into large bowl. Add pudding mixes. Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes or until well blended. Pour over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate 4 hours or until set. Spread remaining whipped topping over pudding just before serving.

I use chopped almonds instead of pecans. I add 1/4 cup confections sugar to the cream cheese mixture. I also add only 3 cups of milk to the pudding mixture. Then I add a 4th layer of butterscotch pudding. Made the same way as the chocolate pudding. Them add the cool whip topping. Yummy! Yummy!

This is a favorite of my family only I make it with butterscotch pudding and it is always a big hit.

I have been making this recipe for many years. My family requests this for every holiday get together we have. I always make two and they still fight over it. They will hide it, steal it, barter for it, threaten each other, and even beg for a piece of it. The only difference in this one and the one I have been making for years is I put the sugar in the cream cheese layer and don't put the milk in the cream cheese layer.
