While I agree with the other comments here, I think Kraft was trying to make a substitute that does not include using raw eggs although adding the pasta to the egg and parmesan cheese mixture does partially cook the egg - a lot of people are totally freaked out by raw eggs in a dish. So, while this is not a true Spaghetti Carbonara, it is a possible substitute that some may find for suitable for the family dinner table. That being said, how about a little restraint and not rate a recipe unless you have actually made it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I made it the first time and my boyfriend loves it! I made it the first time and my boyfriend loves it! The ingredients are simple and the steps are easy to follow, which is my favorite thing about this recipe because I am a busy person and usually come home late. I would suggest adding a little bit of salt into the sauce before tossing it with the pasta, but that's just my opinion. Next time I would add come chopped red bell pepper into the recipe to make the plate more colorful. I definitely will make this recipe again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My family and I liked this very much. My family and I liked this very much. I used ocsar meyer precooked bacon for convenience. Also added a little milk before serving to thin the sauce a bit. Will make again, and try mushrooms or asparagus instead of peas.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was my first recipe with the cooking creme. This was my first recipe with the cooking creme. It has just the right consistency and seasoning. I'll definitely try other flavors in other recipes. This dish came out great, and it really was ready in about 20 minutes. I added green onions with the peas, omitted the parmesan, and sprinkled on a few red pepper flakes when serving. Yum!
