  • Cook pasta in large saucepan as directed on package, adding asparagus to the boiling water the last 3 min.
  • Meanwhile, heat dressing in large skillet on medium heat. Stir in shrimp and garlic; cook and stir 1 min. Add reduced-fat cream cheese and broth; cook 2 min. or until cream cheese is completely melted and shrimp is heated through, stirring frequently. Stir in 3 Tbsp. Parmesan.
  • Drain pasta mixture. Add to skillet; toss to coat. Transfer to platter; top with remaining Parmesan.

    This was really good, a healthy take on alfredo. I used fat free instead of low fat cream cheese, but would use the low fat next time. Other than that, delicious! My picky boyfriend loved it!

    I served this recipe to my husband for his birthday dinner and he is very critical. He loved it. The sauce was excellent and the combination of asparagas and the great cheese was a hit. The only downside was cleanup. Lots of pans for pasta, shrimp, steaming asparagas, also making the sauce. It was worth it! Will definitely make again.
