  • Beat eggs in medium bowl with whisk until well blended. Stir in sour cream. Add remaining ingredients; stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. (Do not overmix. Batter can still be slightly lumpy.)
  • Heat large nonstick skillet on medium-heat. Working in batches, spoon 1 Tbsp. batter into skillet for each pancake; cook 2 to 3 min. or until bubbles start to form on tops and bottoms are golden brown.
  • Turn; cook 1 to 2 min. to brown other sides.

Special Extra

Add a few blueberries or chopped strawberries to batter for each pancake after spooning batter into skillet.

Serving Suggestion

Serve topped with your favorite syrup or cut-up fresh fruit.

I added butter to the pan first and then after 2 rounds I switched to cooking spray, and it took another 2 rounds before I followed the instructions and didn't put anything on my non-stick pan. The last ones I made (actually following the recipe!) came out nice and golden. My kids ate a couple each before declaring they didn't like them (??!) and I thought they were a pretty good way to get rid of sour ***** before it went bad. If I make them again, it will probably be for the same reason.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Yucky! Yucky! This is one of the few Kraft recipes I've made that did not come out. Due to the high egg amount and low flour amount (pancakes usually have 1 cup of flour and 1 egg, the batter tasted very "egg-ey". Also the sour cream didn't give it the same taste that butter would have. I did like the consistency of the pancakes (nice and fluffy) but the overall eggey taste was offputting andI will not be making these again.

Very simple and fun recipe to make with kids, although they did not taste much like silver dollar pancakes they were delicious, they tasted more like crepes which my husband really likes! And now my kids do too. overall I would make this recipe again and serve it with fruit topping. Tips: follow directions completely do not over stir and use a table spoon, to spoon batter into pan for best results.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did NOT like at all and will not make again. Did NOT like at all and will not make again. I made them for my 6 year old grandaughter and she said "these are weird, very eggy". I didn't even know she knew what "eggy" meant. I wouldn't have given them 1 star, but I had to select a rating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never made homemade pancakes before. Never made homemade pancakes before. This is my go to recipe. They are on the eggy side but hey it's more protein. I also make ahead and freeze them.
