These were just okay...I wanted to like them more since I love newtons and I love brie. I omitted the nuts because of my nut allergy. I served them at my party and my guests weren't too into them at all. They mostly peeled the cheese off and ate the newtons. Oh well. Could have just been their personal taste...but I'm willing to try it again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I'm not sure what to think of this recipe. I'm not sure what to think of this recipe. It just seems strange. I have not made this before, the only saving grace for this recipe is the fact that I have had baked brie topped with raspberry jam before so I suppose this isn't all that different. The picture just makes it look weird.

I mean, how can you go wrong with Brie anything? I bet it would even be great with fig Newtons. I'm going to try this for my next get-together.
