This was great! I used whole-wheat penne, and cooked it as follows: Bring 1 cup water & 1 cup pasta to a boil in a large skillet, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 12 minutes. Pour off the small amount of water that remains. Then add other ingredients & simmer about 5 minutes. That way, I could cook everything without dirtying my large pasta pot and a strainer. Also, I used dried basil instead of fresh. This was so easy and tasty! I'm sure I will make it many times.
