What You Need

fully ripe avocado, cut in half, divided

pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

Tbsp. (1/2 of 1.25-oz. pkg.) TACO BELL® HOME ORIGINALS® Taco Seasoning Mix

Tbsp. TACO BELL® HOME ORIGINALS® Thick 'N Chunky Salsa

small tomato, chopped

cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese

green onions, sliced

Make It

MASH half the avocado with cream cheese until well blended; spread onto bottom of pie plate.

MIX sour cream and seasoning mix; spread over cream cheese mixture. Chop remaining avocado; mix with salsa. Spread over sour cream layer; cover with remaining ingredients.

REFRIGERATE several hours or until chilled.

I did use refried beans, mixed in the taco seasoning, added the sour cream without any addins and black olives for a 7-layer dip. As always, a hit.

Fast and easy to make. I did a small variation added some refried beans and tasted great.

I have made this several times and is a wonderful taco dip, especially if you want to skip the beans and/or meat! Delicious and always a hit!

I want to make this recipe and noticed a couple of you said you would add refried beans to it the next time you make it. Where would you add them and are you ADDING them or replacing something else? Thank you.

Very good! However, ours did not serve 32. I made this for a party of about half that many, and it was gone in minutes. Everyone loved it. Next time I will double the recipe.
