Ratings & Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for teens to prepare on their own! Perfect for teens to prepare on their own! Try adding pinto beans to the cooked ground beef. And instead of ground beef, we've also used cooked white meat chicken either cut up or shredded. Occasionally I've served this with sides of salsa, sour cream and guacamole. Also, I like adding the cumin and cayenne on my own instead of using a prepared taco mix. This recipe tastes much fresher.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is a family favorite! This is a family favorite! I am usually not one to care for alot of extra stuff in my salad but LOVED this one! We also like to crumb tortilla chips for an extra crunch. Definitely a keeper for the recipe box.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very easy and tasty. Very easy and tasty. I made it for two people so I used half the beef (extra lean) and kept the spices as is for some extra heat. Black olives would be a great addition.
