env. GOOD SEASONS Garlic & Herb Dressing Mix

1/4

cup oil

1/4

cup white wine vinegar

Tbsp. dry white wine

lb. large shrimp, peeled, deveined

oz. whole mushrooms

onion, cut into wedges

Make It

MIX dressing mix, oil, vinegar and wine until well blended. Remove 1/4 cup of the dressing mixture; set aside.

THREAD shrimp and vegetables alternately on skewers; place in shallow dish. Pour remaining dressing mixture over kabobs; cover. Refrigerate 30 min. to 1 hour to marinate. Drain; discard marinade.

PREHEAT grill to medium-high heat. Grill kabobs 3 to 4 min. on each side or until shrimp turn pink, turning and brushing occasionally with the reserved 1/4 cup dressing mixture.

Cajun Shrimp Kabobs

Prepare as directed, substituting bourbon for the wine, adding 1 tsp. Creole seasoning and 1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce to the prepared dressing and substituting 1 large bell pepper, cut into chunks, for the mushrooms.

As close as I have been able to come to Chili's citrus fire grilled shrimp. Love them.

we used balsamic vinegar, b/c thats what we had. we also added sliced yellow squash to the skewers. Delish!

Have not attempted this recipe as yet but certainly will - it appears quite easy-looks great and being a seafood lover (the only one in my family) easy to cook for one person!

Nice recipe to serve to guests. Light but yet hearty enough to fill male appetites. I used larger shrimp becuase I had them on hand
