Ratings & Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delicious. Delicious. The entire family loved it. I'll definitely be making it again. I made the dumplings a little smaller as I got 8 out of the mixture and I'm glad I did since they expand so much when cooking. The dumplings turned out perfect. I would have liked more sauce, and a little more veggies and chicken, so would increase that as desired. I will use regular chicken broth instead of the reduced sodium chicken broth. I seasoned the sauce mixture and the dumpling mixture with salt and pepper. It still could have used a little more, so I think the regular chicken broth will be perfect.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The breast meat turned out dry. The breast meat turned out dry. I did not cook the breast meat until there were no more pinkness, I figured the breast meat would finish cooking while cooking the dumplings which it did. Regardless, the breast meat was dry. Also, the recipe could of used some salt and pepper, which I added to my own plate. I would replace the breast with thighs, or just dark meat. White meat tends to dry out too much. A lot of nice ingredients, and expensive! I would give this recipe a thumbs down!!! BOOOOOO roars this audience!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This recipe is a true winner! This recipe is a true winner! It would be hard to make it fail even if you tried. Case in point; either my eyes failed me, or had senior moment, or both. I added the full 8 oz of Philly Onion/Chive Cream Cheese spread instead of half (which it clearly instructs), and it still turned out great. I agree with redmuto, rotisserie chicken, or even leftovers, would probably work well here. In short, everyone loved it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good. Very good. Just two things, my sauce thickened up and then I found that it wasn't sufficient. The second thing is that my dumplings came out like biscuits. No complains in my family, but I really wanted dumplings. Not sure if it was suppose to be biscuit like. Also I found that it was not enough for six servings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was shocked! I was shocked! we absolutely loved it! who would have thought you could make it in a skillet. Very flavorful and thick. not runny and bland like most. you can also use your own mix of veggies. only recommendation is to add some extra broth as needed. mine was actually too thick.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A nice combination. A nice combination. I make Sweet Potato fries a lot, usually right along with my russet French fries. Getting Sweet Potato fries crisp and crunchy takes more effort than I'm willing to expend. I just accept that they are going to be softer and eat them up!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a wonderful and easy recipe! What a wonderful and easy recipe! I used rotisserie chicken to make it that much easier. I could not find the chive and onion spread so used the garlic and added dry chives and onion powder. Loved this and will make this again.
