  • Heat dressing in large deep skillet on medium heat. Add sausage; cook 5 min., stirring frequently.
  • Add bell peppers, tomatoes, seasonings and water; stir. Bring to boil. Stir in rice; cover. Simmer on low heat 5 min. Remove from heat.
  • Let stand 5 min. or until liquid is absorbed. Fluff with fork. Sprinkle with cheese.

Refrigerate fresh sausage and use it by the "Use-By" date on the package. If there is no date, use the sausage within 2 days. If you are unable to use the sausage within the recommended date, freeze it for up to 2 months for best quality.
