Sloppy Joe Mac

My husband and I are of the opinion you should not 'mess with' Kraft mac n cheese. So although this recipe sounded good to me, the final product wasn't what we wanted. A straight cheeseburger mac would have been better for our tastes. Too much tomato flavor between the sauce and the barbecue sauce overpowered the original cheese flavors. It was very quick and easy to make and I'm sure some people will love it, just not for us.

I liked it but my son and husband not so much....

Thought this was kind of a strange combination at first, but it turned out to be a great quick recipe! The whole family enjoys it, we rarely have leftovers.

A little too much bbq flavor, next time I'll only use 1/3 cup.

I served it like you would a "Taco Sundae". I put the Sloppy Joe Mac in a big crockpot to stay warm, and made an array of toppings, ie: sliced green onions, black olives, cheddar cheese,crushed tortilla chips etc. Don't expect this dish to taste like mac and cheese. What makes it so special is that you can take a box of mac and cheese, and make it something that looks like you took hours to prepare. Great for a family gathering.

Unfortunately we did not like this dish. I made for dinner and didn't think it deserved another try. It just didn't have much flavor, wish it had more of a cheese flavor but it didn't. I did add cheddar on top but didn't help much.

Pretty good when you need something in a hurry. Omitted the lettuce and tomato and put some veggies on the side.

I did not use this recipe although it looks good. I do a simpler one. I add canned chili, which requires only preparing the mac and cheese.It is very good.

Pretty decent. I cut back on the bbq sauce a bit.

Very easy to make and very tasty. I cut back on the lettuce and tomatoes, used half or would have been way to much.
