  • Mix beer, 1/2 cup barbecue sauce and mustard. Place onions in slow cooker; top with meat and sauce mixture. Cover with lid.
  • Cook on LOW 7 to 8 hours (or on HIGH 5 to 6 hours). Remove meat and onions from slow cooker, reserving liquid in slow cooker. Cover meat and onions to keep warm. Whisk cornstarch and remaining barbecue sauce in small bowl until blended; whisk into liquid in slow cooker. Cook, covered, on HIGH 10 min. or until thickened.
  • Drizzle meat and onions lightly with sauce. Serve with remaining sauce.

Serve with hot cooked mashed potatoes and baby carrots.
