Slow-Cooker BBQ Short Ribs Recipe

What You Need

4

lb. beef short ribs

1

large onion, coarsely chopped

1/4

cup flour

1

cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce

1/4

cup honey

1

Tbsp. yellow mustard

Make It

PLACE ribs in slow cooker; top with onions, then combined remaining ingredients. Cover with lid.

COOK on LOW 6 to 8 hours (or on HIGH 3 to 4 hours). Remove ribs from slow cooker; cover to keep warm.

SKIM excess fat from sauce; return ribs to sauce. Stir gently until evenly coated.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with mashed potatoes and your favorite hot cooked vegetable.

Note

Meats cooked in a slow cooker make great leftovers. Cover and refrigerate any leftover meat in the leftover sauce. When ready to reheat, remove and discard any fat from surface of sauce. Cook ribs and sauce in saucepan on medium-low heat until heated through, stirring frequently.

Special Extra

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley just before serving.

This was extremely good. The meat was really tender. Made this last week and have it in the crock pot again tonite. Made along side the zesty home fries which are also on this website.

Very easy! Folllowed suggestion of another review: pulled ribs out of crock pot after 6 hours (cooked on low) and put into pan, covered in the sauce, topped with some extra BBQ sauce, and baked at 375 for 15 minutes to glaze the sauce. Really flavorful and very filling!

Not a fan of the short ribs...I'd make it again but with country style ribs or something similar. The short ribs were really fatty.

Cooked the ribs in the slow cooker for 8 hours, they came out falling off the bone tender and tasted great. Just enough sauce for dipping. I will make them again.

Very good - very easy! I made the recipe exactly as shown except I used country-style ribs. I wouldn't change a thing! The meat ended up fall-off-the-bone tender so your couldn't pick them up and walk around with them :O) but they were delicious.
