  • Brown meat in large skillet; drain.
  • Mix meat, barbecue sauce and water in slow cooker. Cover with lid. Cook on LOW 4 hours.
  • Fill buns with meat mixture; top with cheese.

Make Ahead

Brown meat. Cover and refrigerate overnight until ready to add to slow cooker.


For a Mexican version, substitute 12 (6-inch) flour tortillas for buns; top with meat mixture, cheese, shredded lettuce, chopped tomato and BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream before rolling up to serve.

Special Extra
