  • Cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours (or on HIGH 5 hours).
  • Transfer chicken to platter, reserving sauce in slow cooker. Add sour cream to sauce; mix well. Serve spooned over chicken.

    I cook Indian food all the time. This recipe is one that i repeat over and over. It is so much better and easier than the recipe given to me by my Indian mother-in-law. I spend 10 minutes in getting this recipe ready - versus hours. I add cut up ******** potatoes at the bottom.

    This was the first dish I prepared when I got my slow cooker. I was a tad skeptical about using salsa as the basis for the flavoring, but it has become my go-to easy curry recipe - and it makes the kitchen smell wonderful.

    We have made this several times and loved it each time. Works with either chicken thighs or breasts. I might try it with pork to see how that turns out. My sister who does not like curry liked it as well.
